The Company Archives Room is a location that appears solely in the fourth sub-ending of the Confusion Ending where the Player follows the The Stanley Parable Adventure Line™.
Information[]
Upon entering the Company Archives room, the door closes behind the player and they are met with a large gray room full of columns in the central area, separating the room along with the four long rows of filing cabinets placed along the walls and the center of the room, dividing the room into two. Some of the cabinet drawers are pulled out and/or damaged, revealing the miscellaneous papers and folders within.
Multiple piles of scattered documents can be spotted on the ground throughout this room. There is a single chair near the entrance and a copy machine opposite to it in the right section. The upper section features a framed painting and a second copy machine. Text is printed onto the walls above sections of the cabinets, indicating the contents of the files inside.

Proceeding past the filing cabinets of this room leads up a slightly elevated platform with another copy machine present on it, walking past it leads to the room with the Fern.
Employee 432 Peer Reviews[]
The way to follow to reach the Employee 432 Peer Reviews corridor.
If one follows the way the Adventure Line™ goes in this room exactly as it travels, they will be met with a non-euclidean room of the Archive at the second U-turn. Not following the Adventure Line™ correctly will have this room not appear.
This room is a long and straight corridor with a copy machine, a clock on the wall, a single row of filing cabinets all to the left side of it, and is plainly labeled "EMPLOYEE 432 PEER REVIEWS". Several pieces of paper are scattered in the middle of the floor.
To the right of this corridor is a closed door with a window on each side of it for the player to peer into, revealing a metal staircase leading down to storage room that's even larger than the entirety of the Company Archives room itself. Within the locked room is rows upon rows of filing cabinets. At the far end of the room in perspective to the location of the player, darker and mold-like sections can be seen on the walls descending from the ceiling.
Employee 432 Observation Report.
There is also a gray office chair sitting next to the door which leads into the locked peer reviews section. In the HD Remix, nothing will be there, but in Ultra Deluxe, a unique piece of paper can be found sitting on it titled Employee 432 Observation Report, which discusses Employee 432's whereabouts every single day, this specific paper featuring days 3,208–3,213.
The situation appeared normal with the employee - asking for pencils and getting no response in return, until he began repeat somewhat incoherent phrases starting on day 3,210 for several hours, repeating the process the next day, then disappearing on day 3,212, which is most likely the day that this character transformed into the Settings Person, according to a DougDoug livestream with The Stanley Parable writer Davey Wreden.[1]
If the player exits the hallway and then goes around the entrance through the gaps between the filing cabinet rows, the wormhole to the hallway will disappear.
In the Confusion Ending[]
While the Adventure Line™ leads Stanley through the office in order to find the story, they usually come across this room when Following Stanley starts to play. After this room comes the discussion of the Narrator about the Fern.
Dialogue[]
No dialogue is specifically spoken in this room, however, it is possible to enter this room with dialogue running, that being the second dialogue from the fourth sub-ending, if the player enters it fast enough.
Trivia[]
- This is one of the only rooms in the entirety of The Stanley Parable franchise to have a visible wormhole taking the player to another location in the run.
