Stop what you are doing now or face the consequences. People will never understand EAT.
Mr Manager
EAT: THE REVOLUTION is a eating-simulation game developed and published by Crows Crows Crows in 2017 for iOS and Android devices, before becoming unavailable on the latter platform.
EAT is a game about challenging the power dynamics of society. In this game, you are placed in a world ruled by UNCLE HUNGER where people are slaves to those who own the means of production.
EAT is a thought-provoking game that challenges players to think critically about the power dynamics of society. Here, you will seek to completely dismantle the hierarchical power structure ingrained in society. EAT empowers you by transferring the reins of power into your very hands. There is no need for further delay – seize this opportunity and embrace the transformative act with EAT.
Information[]
Audio played upon opening EAT.
EAT is presented as a rather simple game, presenting the word "EAT" on the screen accompanied by a Gregorian-style choral commanding the player to “Eaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat”,[1] displaying many different foods for the player to tap on, causing the items to have bites taken out of it, along with satisfying crunches to each bite, until completely consumed.
Tapping further will have an messages typed out onto the screen between each served dish, alternating between retasked food lobby slogans ("FEAST ON HOPE", "DO NOT TRUST YOUR PAIN") - while others hint more overtly at revolution ("THE VASTNESS OF THE NEW COUNTRY CALLS YOU").[1] Many of these phrases refer to UNCLE HUNGER, the main villain of the in-game universe, and that the player should kill him through continuing to eat without feeding into his evil, capitalistic system.
The game lacks music but plays a dark ambience entirely throughout.[2]
Gameplay[]
EAT starts off with displaying a collection of regular foods such as fruits, vegetables, and deserts, and a list of aphorisms to cycle through. To progress through the game, the player must close and then reopen the game, where new foods and phrases will now be presented.
Noticeably, foods that should not be consumed in the real world begin to appear, such as leaves, unappetizing cuts of meat, a plate of green noodles with whipped cream and a cherry on top of an indescribable dollop of greyish-brown appearance. This sequence continues, delving into more concerning words and more bizarre "foods", for example, a collection of pills on a leaf, a greyscaled apple, old parchment paper, a tooth, worn shoes, a creepy doll head, and a squirrel.
On the fifth time opening the game, the player should reach the ending where the text on the screen states, "THERE IS NO MORE FOOD".
The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe[]

Unactivated laptop.

Activated laptop.
EAT: THE REVOLUTION makes a minor appearance in The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe as an easter egg within the final room of The Stanley Parable 2 Development Office before reaching Expo Hall 2.
Standing next to the open laptop facing the first whiteboard in the room for a few seconds will cause the laptop to activate, resulting in the same Gregorian-style choral command to be emitted, displaying "EAT" on the screen. The background of the laptop remains black throughout the experience.
Interacting with the computer will cause a green apple to appear, interacting further will display the apple having bites taken out of it with accompanying eating sounds and a slight wobble effect given to the current food item on the screen. After four clicks, it'll be fully consumed and a message will appear on the screen from a selection of phrases present in the texture. The sequence repeats with a carton of ten eggs and a yellow bell papper, all three of which appear in the full game.

In-game texture. "EAT LITE CREATED BY LIL TXMMY"
The following aphorisms can appear on the laptop between consumed items: "BETTER DEAD THAN HUNGRY...", "REMEMBER TO EAT...", "EAT.", "FEAST ON HOPE", "REJECT THE POISON OF UNCLE HUNGER.", and "DO NOT TRUST YOUR PAIN".
In The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe, the game only appears in its lite version, as stated by the texture name for the EAT contents on the laptop.[3] In the full game, many more items can be eaten and a larger collection of phrases can appear. The full game also has an ending in comparison to the lite version present here which repeats for as long as the player chooses to before progressing the story.

EAT papers texture (stretched).
To the right of the laptop sits three pieces of paper relating jokey ideas on how EAT would be created, the goals of the game, and how it would be monetized. The papers also contain many doodles on them, such as cogs, cupcakes, cookies, shapes, cartoony faces, dogs, a sun with sunglasses, a backwards cool S, bags of money, dollar signs, and squiggles.

Newsletter[]
The release of EAT was announced in Crows Crows Crows' newsletter on December 1st, 2017, titled "Crows Crows Crows presents EAT".
The newsletter starts with thanking the reader (referred to as "Faithful CROWS CROWS CROWS Investors") for staying with them throughout the year, not having provided any news as of late. After taking a jab at the Xbox 360, Crows Crows Crows proudly presents their "latest, most profound invention" - EAT.
- EAT is the ultimate disruption of the hierarchical power structure at the heart of society. Those who own the means of production rule the masses. In the cruel world of UNCLE HUNGER, we are truly all slaves…
But with EAT we are passing the power into your hands.
EAT works outside the broken system of NASTY NASTY CAPITALISM. You can download EAT for zero currency on the App Store or Google Play.
EAT is not a game. EAT is so much more than a game. EAT is a food revolution- we expect to receive a formal offer from DELIVEROO in just about 3… 2… 1…
Displaying a now broken image,[4] about the passage of time as they wait for an email from the DELIVEROO company. Hovering over the image will display the text, "Time has passed since then." The company Deliveroo exists in the real world but the email sent to them is fictional.
The email from DELIVEROO is eventually received but it doesn't contain the response they were hoping for. An individual who refers to themselves as "Mr Manager" replies to the Crows' email, stating that he knows what the Crows are planning: to have DELIVEROO "liquidate and offer to buy you out, funding the development of your next smelly smelly video game." They refuse to fall for the trap, proclaiming that what the Crows are doing is against natural order.
Mr Manager states that he has informed his boss, UNCLE HUNGER, and they, along with the ALLIANCE OF REAL PEOPLE will never allow the Crows to succeed. Ending the email off with, "Stop what you are doing now or face the consequences. People will never understand EAT."
The writer of the newsletter expresses disappointment towards the plan failing but remains hopeful, informing that EAT will remain free for download but that they now have to figure out another "MONEY MAKING SCHEME", asking the reader to "give [them] a week or two". The newsletter is signed off with the sentence, "Definitely do not watch The Game Awards preshow next week on Thursday, Crows Crows Crows".
