The Escape Corridors are sets of repeating rooms and staircases with minor variations per floor that lead towards the Escape Pod at Floor 760. This location is encountered exclusively while going for the Escape Pod Ending after stepping through Door 428.
Information[]
The corridors look identical to one another, with a non-interactive elevator in the middle facing a red door, and a lit ceiling lamp, with the only exception being numbers written on the walls to indicate which floor Stanley is currently on. In each ascending staircase the player walks through, the red light gradually dims until it is completely turned off.
Interestingly, the Escape Corridors appear to be located right outside the two windows present in the first room of the Office, as whenever Stanley looks through a window, he will see an exact same layout of the main office just outside Stanley's Office, not matter which floor he is currently on. Something strange that occurs is that when overlapping the office and the entrance to the Escape Corridors, they fit perfectly together.
The Escape Corridors consist of Eight floors. While the player starts off on Floor 754 and the top floor with the Escape Pod is Floor 760, there are two additional floors below Floor 754, those being Floor 753 and 752, both even being explicitly labeled despite never being encountered in regular playthroughs.
There is no Narrator dialogue in this area, since he is still trapped inside of the Boss's Office at the time of this ending.
Jump Glitch Content[]
See gallery: Escape Corridors/Gallery (Other)
Exclusive to The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe, activating the Jump Glitch in a prior restart before entering the Escape Corridors reveal that the player is able to jump through the window facing Employee 432's desk.
The room is a nearly pitch black replica of the room the player is used to. The hands of the clock in the room and the doors to Employee 427 and 428 are missing. Stepping through Employee 428's door will lead to a lightless and empty room, likely a placeholder for the escape corridor entrance in the regular office. Entering Employee 427's room will lead to the player falling for several seconds before the game restarting them to the start of the Escape Corridor map.
