The Heaven Ending is the ending that occurs after interacting with five specific computers throughout the course of the main storyline.

This ending is in the HD Remix and Ultra Deluxe.

Obtaining The Ending

Awaiting Input computer with no bars.

After the game has been restarted at least once, either manually or by completing an ending, computers throughout the Office and the Boss's Office will activate with their monitor screens reading, "AWAITING INPUT", responding with "INPUT RECEIVED" upon being interacted with.

If the player restarts the game without interacting a computer, the current computer will continue to say "Awaiting Input" in succeeding restarts until it is activated.

Only one monitor can be activated per restart, going in the following order:

The Ending

After the final input, the fifth pink bar will be filled and the computer will beep five times before Stanley is teleported from his office in a flash of light to a white, circular room filled with colorful buttons covering the walls revolving around him and particles of light floating around him. In the background, a choir repeatedly sings the word, "Buttons". It is possible to push the buttons on the wall, which will remain pressed down for 15 seconds before being interactable again.

The player is required to manually restart the game to return to the office.

With The Bucket

This ending was added as additional content in the 1.08 update.

In order to obtain this ending whilst carrying the bucket, either the phone outside of Stanley's office needs to be ringing or the Narrator has to ask if the orders really stopped coming in. Both of these Office Variations will lead to the door to Stanley's Office remaining open. Once either of these have been activated, it's possible for the player to get the bucket from the other room and return to his office and interact with the computer as normal.

Stanley will be teleported to a dark and foggy open location with six pillars surrounding him that resembles the podium which the bucket sits on, buckets fly around in the blowing wind here. A fading glowing circle follows Stanley around wherever he walks in this area. In the background, the choir will sing the word "Bucket" instead of the usual "Buttons". If the player remains near the center of Bucket Heaven, they will remain there indefinitely until deciding to restart themselves, but if they choose to wander towards any single direction, the game will eventually restart itself once the player gets too close to any of the podiums.

Trivia

Heaven Ending with Facepunch activated.

• This is one of the few endings where the Narrator doesn't have any dialogue. This applies to the bucket version as well.
• Heaven contains six rows of 72 buttons, which is exactly 432 buttons.
  • This is an easter egg/reference to Employee 432/The Settings Person.
• Entering "facepunch" while in Heaven reveals a hole in the roof in this room, though it doesn't lead to anything.
• The "Awaiting Input" screen appears in the 2015 puzzle video game, Please, Don't Touch Anything, with the Narrator also being present in the 3D and VR versions.
