This page is meant to provide more insightful information on some inaccessible areas in the Office of The Stanley Parable Demonstration, The Stanley Parable and The Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe.

The Stanley Parable Demonstration[]

  • There are two ledges in the Demo Construction Facility, one with a red display led above it that says: OUT OF ORDER. There isn't anything special behind the doors, or on the ledges.
  • The isolation chamber seen in the Demo Construction Facility is very different from the one in the Facility during Narrative Contradiction, as the two are seperate areas that have some changes apart from the glitchy mess:
    • There are glitched polygons on the back wall that can't normally be seen by the player, and there is a sticking out concave from the place where "there is nothing", as stated by the Narrator.
    • The Isolated Chamber itself is empty in it's first iteration, with gray-painted walls and nothing else.
  • There is texturing inside all of the Emotion Booths from the Emotion Booths Room, although the buttons inside are gray and not active.
  • The seemingly infinite staircase and walkway are actually not infinite and they were made long enough so the player can't spot the not-infinte nature. At both ends of the walkway, there is a special 3d depth texture.
  • The office at the end of the Demo is short, as there isn't anything past the corner hallway, and the end screen trigger blocks the player from seeing this anyway.

The Stanley Parable/The Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe[]

Not Ending-Specific[]

Second half of the second corridor in the Office[]

An inaccessible area blocked by a wall with two windows in the near of the Bucket pedestal. By normal means accessible only via Confusion Ending (although with slight changes). It leads to a grayish area with a single knob-less door, although there are holes in the texturing, signaling more doors that were supposed to be added. To the right there is another open door, which leads to a out-of-bounds shortcut to the Two Doors Room.

Hallway behind Employee 425's Room[]

Big gray hallway with ceiling lamps. In The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe, has texturing going up until the end of the hallway leading where the Line™ normally goes in the Confusion Ending. Other Stanley walks through this hallway as a Office Variation. By normal means accesible only via Confusion Ending, with doors and knobs added. Some cardboard boxes are also present.

Office near the New Content Door[]

A small, blue office located to the left of the hallway leading to the New Content Ending and Sequel Ending. The Line™ goes through the corridor after completing the Confusion Ending, but it doesn't go anywhere rather than appearing at a wall and disappearing at another wall.

Areas on the other side of the Right Door's Doorway Wormholes[]

Main article: Mumbletown

Office next to the Employee Lounge hallway[]

Another blueish office, this time connecting the hallway to the Employee Lounge and the grayish area next to it. The Line™ makes here a minor appearance after the completion of the Confusion Ending, although it ends just around the corner of the door and starts below the small box covering it. The back walls are covered in Developer Textures (similar to the ones used in the Unfinished Section, although lacking the 128.128 numbers).

High placed catwalk in the Warehouse[]

A catwalk opposite to the large windows in the Warehouse. Nothing seems to be worth noting here beside the doors on both sides of the catwalk missing door knobs.

Area behind the fencing on the Cargo Platform A2[]

Small area with a forklift and some boxes. Has two closed doors. One box stack on a box pile in the corner is floating mid-air.

Cargo Bay B1[]

Blue cargo bay room with lots of box stacks and a a wooden container full of pencil sharpeners labeled 432.

Blue Hallway above the "No Buckets" corridor[]

Hallway above the corridor with the stairs leading to the Colored Doors Room and the No Buckets Ending. Has one door missing a door knob, some office cabinets, a painting and some boxes placed near the cabinets.

Nook in the Maintenance Section[]

A small room behind a fencing. There is a pile of boxes.

Inaccessible Ledge near the Boss's Office[]

A ledge in the area behind the Boss's Office. The light from the ledge doesn't have a source, which is rather strange. A Low Poly Rat can be found here while visiting this area the third time (after riding the Elevator up two times).

Catwalk and Platforms on the way down in the Boss's Secret Elevator[]

A series of many walkways seen on the way down the Boss's Secret Elevator. There isn't much to see there.

High placed metal balcony in the Mind Control Facility[]

A catwalk that leans over the Mind Control Facility. By normal means accesible only via Confusion Ending. From here, you can spot the "Metal Scaffolding 8". In the normal playthrough, the door doesn't have a knob. In the Confusion Ending - it does have one.

Walkways above the Countdown Room[]

A bunch of walkways above the Countdown room. There are some doors and an interesting generator with a message on it:

cs/SysHost.exe
MG...)
DOOR INFO...]

This may be proof that the door opened (and later closed when approached) during the Countdown Ending is actually an escape route.

Ending-Specific[]

Freedom Ending[]

The entire outside area once Stanley triumphs over the Mind Controls is set to move the player in a scripted cutscene. The big "Freedom" is actually just a few grassy yards, a large shed and a few trees. Strangley, all of the flowers and bushes in this area have collision. There is a flattened skull near the shed, which is actually a 3D Model in the HD Remix.

Museum Ending (With The Bucket)[]

There are a few corridors that are blocked off, but they just don't lead anywhere. The light source doesn't exist at the end of those hallways.

Mariella/Insanity Ending (With The Bucket)[]

The lit up area with a few small buckets and a big bucket is actually a dead-end hallway, even when it's not lit up. The big bucket is only rendered in half (its back does not exist).

Confusion Ending[]

This ending has a variety of content to talk about.

Sub-ending 1[]

The left and right corridors that the Narrator closes before the player enters them are not very deeply built, the stairway is rendered only up to the first and second flight, the orange corridors end after a turn. The left corridor also has mud walls at the end, instead of a normal wall. The Mind Control Facility is very diffrent from the normal one. If the player tried to exit using the door under the catwalk balcony, they would meet a black void. Through this void, the start of the sub-ending can be seen. The monitors near the "Camera" button show images used in the Countdown Room, instead of showing a black file cabinet. If one went where the escape elevator takes them to the Countdown room, there will be a door frame, but no wormhole that takes them to the room.

Sub-ending 2[]

There aren't any special inaccessable areas, but the labyrinth is worth looking at from the top, as some hallways, even though they do not have doors seperating them have Wormholes.

Sub-ending 4[]

The staircase where the Line™ starts going crazy doesn't go on for too long, as it ends after two flights of stairs at the bottom, and four at the top. The Employee 432 peer reviews room is actually connected to the non-eucludian hallway, rather than the image being wormholed between two areas.

Sub-ending 5[]

The rest of the office not accessible during this ending is removed out of existence. Only the Line™ goes a bit further, then ends mysteriously. Some textures for the computer screen are interestingly still present in the black void.

Bucket Destroyer Ending[]

  • The Stanley Parable Adventure Line™ going under the resource container actually floats mid air. Then, it disappears in the container.
  • The Resource Import Bay to the right where the Narrator says: "Wee! Look at that wacky Line™!" doesn't have anything to talk about inside apart from the door in the corner of the room actually having a door handle (which isn't common across inaccessible areas).
  • Resource containers in the big cargo room don't have anything inside. The Cargo Platform does have collision, but it doesn't work either, probably because it doesn't have any rails at the top.
  • There are some catwalks below the platform near the Bucket Destroyer, although there isn't much going on there.

Apartment Ending[]

  • The elevator and the hallway that gets blocked off by a brick wall ends just around its corner. There isn't anything more rendered apart from the sticking flooring and wall. The elevator buttons don't work, and it can't be opened up.
  • Stanley's Bedroom has a weird device floating behind the door. It looks like it was meant for automatic doors to close/open automatically.
  • Stanley's Office after the full transformation is a completely diffrent room from the apartment.

Not Stanley Ending[]

  • All of the inaccessible areas that may be revisited during this ending are unchanged.
  • If one gets into the Vent during this ending, they won't be teleported to the Tape Recorder Room, rather they will become stuck.
  • The Colored Doors Room makes here a cameo in the Meeting Room. The Blue Door and the Red Door are recolored to be gray though.
  • Behind the Crushed Two Doors Room, there is a bit of debris laying in a straight path, possibly being the corridor to the room.
  • The inside of the Broom Closet is untouched, although the lights are turned off. This goes the same for the Elevator Room near the Boss's Office, with a notable diffrence of there being collision in front of the elevator, and the buttons not working.
  • The collision for the stairs going down still exist within the stairway.
  • There isn't anything behind the gray door in the Boss's Office during Narrative Contradiction.
  • The Final Two Doors room, where the player is stuck on the ceiling is only modeled up to the two turns after going through either the left or the right door, as they end quickly with a brown Developer Texture.

Not Stanley Ending (Bucket)[]

The entirety of the Green Boss's Office still exists in this ending weirdly. If one went to the Boss's Office during this ending, it would count as going through the left door sub-ending towards the credits.

Games Ending[]

  • Firewatch is probably the most polished and object-packed area in the game, although the only thing to mention in it is the gravel "circle" near the edge of the area.
  • The way the player ends up in the same area of the Half-Life 2 office is that around the area that the player lands onto is a trigger, that once hit decreases the field of vison of the player, and then they get teleported. There are other platforms the player can visit, but they don't have much to offer.
  • The room next to Stanley's Office has a lot of photos from the Half-Life 2 town.

No Buckets Ending[]

The entire game show room is actually floating in a blue cube, and so are the shelves in the background.

New Content Ending[]

  • During the cart ride, a lot of doors can be seen, but none are enterable, nor there's anything interesting near them.
  • A blocked off by railings area can be seen near the Jump Circle room. Nothing seems to be worth noting there.

Skip Button Ending[]

  • The vent in the beginning of the ending is actually dead-ended where the player falls down. Same goes before the transitional area.
  • Above the second drop there is a vent going up with red light coming from it, but also ends just around the ledge.
  • The back of the entrance to the Memory Zone has a wormhole that leads to the other side of it.
  • The memory zone structures are actually very apart from each other.
  • Some of the plants actually don't grow on the ground, but mid-air. This illusion is done by placing the player's path low beneath where the bottom of the herbs can be seen.
  • The Serious Room isn't modeled from the outside. Its inside doesn't have collison.
  • Stanley apparently can walk on water, as seen after clipping out of the boundaries to touch some water near the 3rd review.

Sequel Ending[]

  • There are two inaccessible rooms on the way to the Expo 2, but they have nothing worth looking at.
  • The hallway that goes into the dark to the left of the "Valued Investors" sign is actually a short, dead-end hallway.
  • There is nothing behind the "NEW CONTENT 2" buses, although there is a car to the right of them.
  • Many walkways can be seen above the The Stanley Parable 2 Expo, but they don't lead anywhere. There are some doors, but they all are knob-less. One walkway leads to a dark area, but it rather ends really quickly with a steel panel.
  • The Infinite Hole area has some catwalks above it, but nothing is worth noting there.
  • There are chairs near the Mostly Infinite Hole, and the highier-up ones float in the air for some reason.
  • A walkway near the circular room where the Narrator shows off his "Stanley Parable 2 Gameplay" is blocked off. After a turn of it, it ends with a violent jump to the darkness below.

Figurines Ending[]

  • When The Narrator and Stanley are revisiting the Staircase Stanley Figurine, the upper half of the staircase is blocked off, although it just leads to an open doorway which doesn't have any wormholes, which means it just leads to the Memory Zone hills void.
  • Most of the Warehouse has gone unchanged, although there are some differences:
    • The catwalks and the platform leading to the Phone Room have lost collision
    • The door leading to the Employee Lounge isn't even modeled in, as there is an empty doorway.
    • Loading Dock B, although reachable due to the killzone activating the Powerful Ending being gone doesn't play any music, like it does in the map_incorrect from the Not Stanley Ending.
  • The door to get inside loading dock bay A1 is fully interactable; it can be closed and opened at will.

Trivia[]

  • The Baby Game map is loaded in with the same exact background (green void with sunrise) as the Dollhouse level in Superliminal.
  • The Essence of Divine Art speaks to the player in a white box, rather than simply displaying the text on the screen.
