The Receptionist
The Receptionist is a character found exclusively in The Stanley Parable Demonstration, appearing near the beginning of the game inside of the reception room. Here, she greets the player, announces their queue number, and when to enter the demonstration room, which is referred to as the green room by the Narrator. Her voice comes from the deskphone on the table in front of the player, with a name plate by the right edge that reads, "RECEPTIONIST #01".
After the Narrator fails to properly boot up the demo the first time, he and the player return to the reception room confused, only to be served again by the receptionist, which this time gives out the number 29. After the player exits the Eight Game room, the Narrator guides them back to the room they started in, passing by the receptionist who proceeds to give out the number 30, resulting in the Narrator giving a response of mild irritation.[1]
The Receptionist is voiced by Jenny Kuglin.
