C’est la Chanson sur La Mémory Zone is a song that plays when visiting the Memory Zone at the beginning of the Skip Button Ending. It was written by William Pugh, translated into French and composed by Titouan Millet, and performed by Alina Johann.
"C’est la Chanson sur La Mémory Zone (en Français)" is translated to "This is the Song about The Memory Zone (in French)".
On May 17th, 2022, Titouan published a demo version of the song on his YouTube channel with a bit of information on its creation in the description:
- Back in 2020 the Crows Crows Crows team asked me to compose a french song for an area in The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe called the "Memory Zone". The idea was to make a cliché love song, except dedicated to the original version of the game rather than a love interest. It was quite fun to make!
This is the first demo I sent to the team. The melody and lyrics were convincing, but the final result was a bit too epic, like a rock balad instead of a nostalgic tune.
Later I recorded a slower, calmer version of the piano, and Alina Johann sang the lyrics for the final version which you can now find in the game.
