Everyone thinks that the Adventure Line™ is a very unclear and weird entity that is a seemingly infinite yellow line, and that's it for It™'s personality traits. But I have a wildly different view on the discussion about the yellow Line™, in fact, I think that it's the best gag in the entire series. Ok, let's see what do we have on out bulletin board:
Where does It™ end? Why is It™ so powerful that It™ can even destroy things in the office? Does It™ know where It™ goes and messes up just to troll the Narrator? Why can It™ only climb on low ceilings and walls? Why does It™ reappear in the office from multiple different places?
Ok, as you can see, there's a lot to discuss here, but there's a very simple answer to all of these questions, probably a very big hot take:
The Line™ isn't even a Line™! The Datingsim figure from TSP12 is the Line™ himeself, he just goes aroung the office with a can of paint and a paintbrush and he paints the line on the floor!
I've made a little image to make things clearer (the guy on the left is the Line™):

My MS Paint fan art (I know it's bad)
As you can see, the Line™ Guy is always ahead of Stanley and he draws the Line™ as Stanley goes through the office. The Line™ will never have an end, because he just always creates more of it. Taking this as a hypothesis for now, and let's look again at our bulletin board:
Where does It™ end?Why is It™ so powerful that It™ can even destroy things in the office?Does It™ know where It™ goes and only messes up just to troll the Narrator? Why can It™ only climb on low ceilings and walls? Why does It™ reappear in the office from multiple different places?
Whoa! Everything was just crossed out! But why is that? That is because this hypothesis answers all of the questions in a way that makes sense! Now, let's analyze why everything makes sense now:
Where does It™ end?
It™ doesn't end until the Line™ Guy decides to make it end. Examples: Fourth Confusion Ending Sub-ending and Bucket Destroyer Ending: here the Line™ suddenly stops and just doesn't go anywhere. Perhaps the Line™ Guy jumps to the bottom of the Mind Control Room, and then just waits for the game to restart. In the Bucket version, he just hides somewhere behind the Bucket Destroyer, and waits for it to go off.
Why is It™ so powerful that It™ can even destroy things in the office?
Because the Line™ Guy is the one who punches through the ceiling and knocks over chairs and desks.
Does It™ know where It™ goes and only messes up just to troll the Narrator?
Yes, because the Line™ Guy one time correctly led Stanley and The Bucket to the Bucket Destroyer. In the Confusion Ending, the Line™ was either confused because of the schedule, or just to confuse the Narrator.
Why can It™ only climb on low ceilings and walls?
Because the Line™ Guy can only reach certain heights and probably doesn't carry around a ladder.
Why does It™ start in the office from multiple different places?
Because there are multiple Lines™ that the Line™ Guy draws.
There is another thing to discuss though at the end. You probably remember the two Line™ sightings from TSPD?
There are two ominous and probably theory-breaking questions for these particular Line™ sightings:
- How does the Line™ Guy reach the place where the Line™ in the dark is drawn?
- How is the Line™ Guy not under the influence of the Narrative Contradiction
Fortunately, I have two answers:
- The black pit is not that deep, the Line™ Guy could easily fall off the catwalks in the Final Decision Room and draw the Line™, as it's just about in a human's hand reach.
- The Line™ from the Construction Facility under Narrative Contradiction is just one of the many graphical bugs that Narrative Contradiction does. It is the only Line™ not drawn by the Line™ Guy.
Ok, that covers it all. Thank you for reading oh there he goes again ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->
